Founded in 1967, this club has had years to establish itself on strong camaraderie and exemplary sportsmanship. Durbanville Golf Club prides itself on a space that encourages community interaction. When joining their club, you embark on an adventure of interaction with like-minded individuals who hold a special place in their hearts for this sport.
They strive to offer an environment that allows golf to be more than a day trip and encourage their players to bring the whole family for some fun! Their reputation for a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere with serene views precedes them. The club enjoys an active membership of players young and old who hold a passion and eagerness to learn about golf and welcomes visitors to experience this.
Although Durbanville Golf Course is historically known as a wet course, they have endeavoured to install storm drains which have helped improve and meet the winter drainage requirements. Much to their delight, and yours, this upgrade has resulted in improved playability year round! This location is well-known for its range of first-rate facilities, friendly staff and excellent scenery.
Their facilities include a Halfway House, a relaxing Lapa area with a gazebo covered searing, a comfortable Members’ Lounge and a bar. Furthermore, members and visitors will never have to worry about where to purchase their equipment. They have a well-stocked PRO Shop on site stocked with carts and clubs available for hire.
The PRO Shop
The PRO Shop management and staff are incredibly proud of this well-stocked space and enjoy the hustle and bustle of this central space. This shop is the point of registration for our green fees, cart hire and club hire.
They offer knowledgeable assistance for players of all skill sets and can help get you set up with everything needed for a successful day on the course. Furthermore, they ensure only the best brands are stocked in their PRO Shop, including clubs, balls and carts. Stock includes carefully chosen gear and accessories from trustworthy suppliers to ensure clients’ value for money. Should you have a specific item in mind, their shop staff will assist in any way we can to help you secure it.
