Fairmont High School is an English medium public school located centrally in Durbanville. Established in 1977, this school has become a well-known figure in the community and now boasts around 1400 learners.

Through their motto, “We strive for excellence”, they maintain their goal to offer their students the opportunity to grow and establish themselves through academic pursuits, cultural involvements and sports and leadership activities. Their continuously evolving learning environment enables their students to excel each year academically and enjoy the various opportunities presented to them.
